Stories are central to our lives and to every culture in the world. Whether surrounded by polar wastes or tropical rainforests, people everywhere have always dramatised their hopes, joys, fears and sorrows in the form of stories, told, written and sung… A team of students from Cork School of Music’s drama degree course will perform stories from the Cherokee, the South African, the Irish and the Eastern European traditions.
Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. While many of the types of dance and music featured in the program are Latin American inspired, classes can also contain everything from jazz to African beats to country to hip-hop and pop. Whitechurch’s local Zumba instructors Siobhàn & Toni will give an hour display of the weekly dances that take place as part of there Zumba classes.
