A relaxed evening of Irish conversation, with a talk about the origins and history of Irish Dance, poetry readings in Irish and music from Comhaltas.

Story and poetry readings from members of an Ciorcal Comhrá, readings consist of stories on local saint Naomh Choráin from the Annals of Youghal by Cannon Samuel Hayman and writings of local author Annraoí Ó Liatháin.

An Naíonra, Irish Medium playschool, is based in Youghal Community Centre and was established in 1980 by Conradh na Gaeilge.

This event is supported by Oireachtas na Gaeilge, Foras na Gaeilge and the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
