Blackwater Makers Art Trail, in conjunction with Fermoy Forum, will see local businesses “Adopt an Artist” for the evening. Opening up their premises to stunning exhibitions of fine art, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, glass art, millinery, furniture, wood turning, carvings and design. There will also be exciting demonstrations, such as the talented John O’Shea’s wood turning. And innovative workshops, such as Lucy Phelan’s “make you own visual Diary” collage. Meet the makers along the trail and find out more about them and their work.

The Art Trail exhibits will start in the A.I.B banking hall, followed by a quick stroll up to the next stop at Hanna’s.
Pop over to Barbers Jewellers, where Simon Barber will demonstrate how he creates his stunning jewellery.
Stroll into the town square to the Heron Cafe where talented wood turner Charley McCarthy and award-winning glass artist Suzanne O’Sullivan will be giving demonstrations.
Fermoy Community Youth Centre will host its exhibit in the beautiful Anderson room. And to round off the evening, pop into the Grand Hotel where you will be meet in reception by another stunning display of work from the Blackwater Makers.
