Celebrate the world of ceramics with a visit to the craftyhands ceramic studio. Gain insight and have a hands on experience with different ceramic techniques or try them all. Spend an evening in CLAYTOPIA. There will also be a pop up fine art exhibition by local artists. Wine reception.

Visitors to craftyhands ceramic studio on culture night can enjoy an evening of Claytopia! You will have an opportunity to try your hand at the many different aspects of ceramics. As you move around the studio, you can engage with traditional handbuilding techniques like coiling and pinching, slipware & burnishing, slab work and the building of more contemporary ware and sculpture, slip casting and throwing on the wheel. Demonstrations will be given by Susan and her team and more importantly you will have the chance to join in.

We will also have a fine art pop up exhibition by local artists as well as ceramic work.
Come along and enjoy the atmosphere of the studio, wine reception on arrival.

Busking the Night Away: A Mid-September Showcase of the Arts

A fun-filled evening of performances, films and great music by local artists. Come see what Midleton Arts Festival is all about, why it’s a great asset for the town, and share your ideas for next year’s festival! Be greeted at the Courthouse by buskers outside. Come in to see highlights from this year’s festival including some of the best films, the Drum Circle, and ECMP’s RAW installation. Enjoy a showcase of Midleton’s finest theatre, dance, history, and artwork – plus music to get you moving! We’ll also let you in on a secret… the theme for next year’s festival!
