Culture Night…
The seventeenth edition of Culture Night will take place on Friday 23 September 2022.
Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir is a national moment, an annual all-island public event. Brought to you by the @Arts Council to celebrate our diversity of culture, creativity and the arts while promoting the belief that rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives every day. Culture Night is nationwide – in cities, towns, villages and rural locations as well as online and through our media partners. Over 1.1 million people engaged with Culture Night in 2021.
Culture Night invites everyone, everywhere, on one wonderful night to discover and celebrate all that our culture is today.
For one special night, the island of Ireland and select international locations become your free cultural playground. You are invited to seek out the culture, in all its guises, on your doorstep, in your community, across our county and nationwide.
Doors are opened late and special and unique events are taking place in towns and villages across County Cork. Thanks to the continued support of the @Arts Council and @Cork County Council all activities are made available to the public free of charge.
