The Truce Mural- What’s it all about? The recently completed mural on Kent St, Clonakilty commemorates the end of the Irish War of Independence 100 years ago. The art work depicts the story of the local struggle for independence and its journey towards eventual peace. Michael Collins House curator Jamie Murphy discusses the artwork and the history and symbolism in it.
