A large outdoor artwork combining light, water and sound, celebrating the many traditions connected with Ireland’s holy wells. Located at Tubrid, one of Ireland’s largest and most splendid holy well sites, the artwork combines hundreds of floating candles and floral boats with an evocative soundscape. Visitors are invited to contribute their own votive offering by lighting a floating boat in memory of a loved one. Unveiled at twilight, the installation will grow in size and radiance as darkness falls.
