A light introduction to the grammar of Jazz, by John Philip Murray. A brief history of its origins, demonstrations by John Philip, drums, Brian Priestley, piano, Michael Riordan, double bass and Chris Engel, saxophone, using a well-known tune. This will be followed by an hour-long concert.
