Lacemaking & Crochet in the Park

Carrigaline have a strong history of crochet from 1800s ladies crocheted and sold their work at markets.

Today, we have a group of ladies who meet every Monday morning in Ballyseedy cafe and carry on the crochet tradition.

On culture night, we hope to show some of our work. The public is welcome to come meet the makers and give it a try. led by renowned textile & lace expert Veronica Stuart
