Stencil printing –

This D.I.Y. printmaking workshop allows participants to learn low-tech printmaking techniques to create simple and colourful prints and patterns on textile and paper. Participants will be introduced to the immediate and flexible form of stencil and block printing and will have the opportunity to learn how to use a variety of printmaking tools to make multi-layered printed artworks inspired by our colourful and abundant natural heritage and native plants. They will be able to choose from a variety of nature-themed stencils and printing blocks to create their own hand-printed designs and images to take home.

This workshop is suitable for 18yrs+.

Print Van Go is a travelling print studio, championing and sharing participatory printmaking experiences for people of all walks of life. The purpose of Print Van Go is to make art and printmaking more public and accessible to a wider audience by bringing professional printmaking tools, equipment and facilities into the community. We have an array of mobile print presses and equipment that can be used in any space and by anyone. Our workshops cover a vast array of techniques and processes within traditional printmaking, from the humble potato print and rubber stamps to screen printing on textiles.
